Honorary Doctors
Since its founding in 1965, Umeå School of Business has granted a number of Honorary Doctorate degrees (Doctores Honoris Causa). The honorary doctorate recipients include representatives from the academic world as well as individuals from the business world who have connections to the business school.

Pär Boman, Group CEO and CEO Handelsbanken Stockholm
Pär Boman will be installed as a Honorary Doctor in October 24th 2009. Director Boman has during many years been very engaged in Umeå School of Business development and Handelsbanken has since the inauguration of the business school 1989 been an importent cooperation partner.
